Friday was Husky Hustle day at Cristian's school. It's a really fun activity that the entire school participates in. I signed up to volunteer and brought Ava with me. Here she is helping Rhubarb, the Tacoma Rainiers (the Mariners AAA baseball team) mascot decorate for the event.
I was put in charge of the 1st graders snack table.

ALL of the First graders lined up and ready to start running. (each grade was assigned a color to wear... obviously C's grade was green :)
Here comes Cristian after his first lap around the entire school.

Ava participated too!
She ran a total of 6 laps!

They ran their last lap together :) Cristian ran 12 laps total. He really seems to enjoy running and is excited to participate on the school's track team next year. (you have to be in 2nd grade)

How fun!! Your kids did awesome!! :)
What a little runner C is! That looks like a fun school event for the kids!! I can't believe your kids have a track team at 2nd grade!! Alyssa would be so jealous :-) She's holding out for her first opportunity in 6th grade.
