Family Fun Night

Always fun to spend time with these three!
This might be considered cheating :)
I love how excited they get for family outings!
Kyle giving Cristian a few golfing tips :)
Yes Ladies and Gentlemen, can you believe it? A picture of the 8th wonder of the world, THE BACK SIDE OF WATER :)
Starting the back 9
This hole was particularly fun for the kids, you putt off the green, into the raging stream of water, and it ends up back on the green at the bottom. The kids must have golfed this hole 10 times :) That was the nice thing about it not being super crowded, we could repeat their favorite holes.

After our 18 holes of Mini Golf, we stopped at a local favorite burger joint for some ice cream!

I will definitely miss summer nights like this!!

Fun Way to Help Out

The kids wanted to help water my flower pots, but anytime they water them with a hose - they drown them, and anytime they use a watering can, they kind of squish them. So I gave them each a little water bottle (in Carter's case, a coke can), and turned on the sprinkler, and had them fill up there bottles and then water the flowers. This kept them busy for about an hour, and allowed Kyle to get the rest of the beauty bark spread, and me to dead head a few things.

A-baseball

Ava also has just 4 weeks left of baseball (well, technically 5 weeks, but we will miss her last game in September because of a Husky home game).
Ava on 2nd base, pretty happy after her big hit. (she looked right over at her audience with this big grin because even the other team's parents were clapping for her) :)

High School Friends

We had some of Kyle's High School friends over for a BBQ last week. Here are Carter and Ava playing with baby Isabel.

Kyle and his 2 best friends from HS... Thomas and Jason. It was fun to catch up with them and their families.

C- Baseball

We're down to our final 4 weeks of baseball, amazing how quick the season goes by! Cristian getting ready to field a ball.

Cousins

While my cousin Emily and her family were in town, we had a Cousin's playdate at our house. The kids had a great time together, Ava loved having more girl cousins to play with :) The kids are all growing up quick! Carter (almost 3), Joeli (almost 4), Ava (5 years old), Tori (6.5 years old), and Cristian (8 years old)
My mom, Aunt Denise, Aunt Beth (holding Colette), Christina, and Brett (who's home for the summer after his first year away at College).

Team Bonding

Once a month, we have a little team bonding activity or party at the gym for the new level 4's I coach. In June we made team colored flip flops, hair scrunchies, and learned new hair styles. (and I forgot to bring my camera to that event, although I did post pics of the hair style we learned and the hair bow we made on Ava). In July, we played some fun games with water balloons. Cristian and Ava were able to participate with the level 4's too :) Here they are getting ready to play a round of water balloon toss.
They all made it pretty far apart before the balloons started breaking
Ava laughing at her broken balloon
The winners of the water balloon toss... Nicole and Cristian :)
And we also had popsicles! Can't wait for August's team bonding activity! What a great way to make summer fun before our more serious training starts this fall!
