Teacher Appreciation week

Hard to believe we're coming to the end of another school year! Next week is Teacher Appreciation week at Cristian's school, so my friends Kristy, Erika and I got together and brainstormed some ideas of how to make our kids' teacher's week extra special! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about C's teacher AGAIN this year! She is great and deserves all the appreciation she'll get next week. Here's the door decorating project we worked on. She is really into gardening, so we went with that theme.

Playdate

We had a lunch playdate with our friends Lisa, Kydin, Adilyn, and Maycin. It was fun getting a chance to see their new house (we're practically neighbors now!) and spend some time catching up. Here are the kids eating lunch.

Carter Thomas - 19 months

Carter is definitely my climber! At 19 months, he can scale anything (including his crib). One afternoon, Cristian had a friend over to play after school... I went outside to ask them what sounded good for dinner, and not 15 seconds later, he's on the kitchen table looking out the window at me :)

Daffodil Parade

I haven't downloaded the pictures from my little cannon in awhile apparently :) I took a just a couple pictures at the daffodil parade this year. It was a beautiful day and there were tons of people watching! Here is Aunt Lisa walking in front of the Queen's float.

Ava's Field Trip

Tuesday I took Ava to her field trip. It was a perfect day (weather-wise) for pictures. Here's Ava with her class.

She was very excited to get to pick out one flower and plant it in a pot, and one vegetable to bring home for our garden. She chose a purple flower and tomatoes!

Afternoon at the park!

Spring weather has arrived!!! So last Sunday, we took advantage of the beautiful, sunny day and decided to take the kids to the park after nap time. We played a little baseball...

The girls were loungin' on the chair and Cristian snuck up behind them and dropped it to flat. They thought it was hysterical... so he kept doing it :)

Kyle wrote on an egg w/ white crayon (without Cristian knowing) and then he gave it to him to color. He was shocked to see his egg come out of the cup with his initials on it. He thought it was a magic egg :)
