Pizza Party

Cristian's class had a pizza party on Monday (on their last full day of school). Of course, I didn't want Cristian to miss out on the event, so I homemade him his own Gluten Free Pepperoni pizza and delivered it to him hot, right out of the oven.

Last Day of Gymnastics

Carter had his last day of Toddler gymnastics on Monday. As usual, he enjoyed every second of it.

Father's Day 2011

We had a very relaxing Father's Day... started off the morning making Kyle his favorite breakfast... gooey biscuits, eggs, and bacon. Then the kids gave him his presents
Luckily I had my camera on me at church... we just started a 4 week series on Money, and they opened the service by doing a little comedy show! Check out the lovely ladies of the Price is Right!
Then we went to Taco Del Mar for lunch. Afterwards we did a little yard work, made homemade gluten free pizzas, and roasted marshmallows in the fire pit! After the kids went to bed, Kyle and I rented The King's Speech. Great movie, I highly recommend it! Happy Father's Day, Kyle! You are a wonderful daddy to our 3 children, we love you!!

Root Beer Float Party

On Friday, I treated Cristian's class to a Root Beer float party for Ms. Beeler's birthday! We went through 4 things of ice cream, and 3 bottles of root beer, and got to watch Ms. Beeler's favorite kid movie, Finding Nemo! (well, they watched the first 45 minutes of it).

Field Day 2011

When I was in elementary school, I remember looking forward to field day every year! Looks like things haven't changed in 20 years... because these kids were counting down the days until their field day, and they had a BLAST. It was so fun for me to get to walk around with the kids and watch them! Ms. Beeler invited Ava to join Cristian's class for Field day this year :)
Ava a little anxious for her first game at Field day... the obstacle course race. I think she was a little nervous before she went, but all the kids were cheering for her and yelling "Go Ava, Go! Go Ava, Go!" She quickly figured out that this day is all about FUN, and there's no pressure to win, or come in first place :)

this was a fun little game, they had to carry plastic "ball pit" balls to throw into the bucket, but you could not touch the grass. You could only step on the colored things... and if you fell off one of them, then you had to do 5 jumping jacks before getting back on.

Mariners game 6/14/11

On Tuesday, we went to the Mariners game with our Pastor, his daughter, and our Pastor's mom who was in town visiting from Kentucky and absolutely LOVES baseball. We had a great time with them, and saw a fantastic game!!

Cheering on the M's in the 9th inning! Vargas pitched a 4 hit, complete game shut out, and the Mariners beat the Angels 4-0 :)

One morning when our friends were over visiting, Ellie and Carter plopped themselves on this chair and played games on Nicole's cell phone. It's amazing what a 3 year old and a 2 year old know how to do on a phone. (something that would have been completely foreign to me at their age).

Playdate

Cristian had his two best friends over on Saturday. They had so much fun together that they all deemed it "the best playdate ever" The boys asked if they could live here this summer :) Glad they had so much fun :)
Only in Washington do kids think it is "hot" enough to play on a water slide when it is mostly cloudy (with a fun sun breaks) and 70 degrees, haha. I thought this picture was cute... they were all "cheering on" the baby as he showed them all how he could go down the water slide all by himself.

I got them all a candy necklace (and had some left over sweet tarts that I bought at the movies the night before with a friend).
They spent the next hour having a water gun fight.

The boys were really good about including Ava and Carter, although Ava voluntarily sat out during the water fight. She helped me water my flowers instead.
