After we check out our stockings and all the things Santa brings, we open up presents under the tree. We each take turns opening one present at a time. (and all 5 of us always have the same number of presents to open). This year we decided to go youngest to oldest, so Carter got to open the first present. Ava was so excited to give everyone the present that she picked out for each of her family members!! Here is Carter opening up his present from his sister :)
Funny story about this gift... right after Halloween, Carter's ball pit popped and wouldn't stay inflated. The kids LOVED this ball pit, and really enjoyed playing with Carter in it. I was not all that sad when this toy had to be thrown away since that meant it would no longer be taking up space in my house :) A couple weeks later when Ava and I were talking about Christmas presents, she told me that she really wanted to get Carter a new ball pit for Christmas because they always had so much fun together playing in it. She picked out this Mickey Mouse one for him, since Carter LOVES Mickey. A very thoughtful gift on her part... and once again there will be a ball pit up in my living room :)
Cristian and Ava went next... they got to open these at the same time :) Cristian was pretty darn excited!!

And a DS wouldn't be complete without their first DS games

Ok... so I may have picked these up for myself and gave them to Kyle to wrap for me. But I did call him first and tell him I found them on sale, and I figured it'd be nice of me to save him the trip to Fred Meyer :)
Ava picked out the cutest clothes for me when Kyle took her Christmas shopping. A pink shirt, black/grey striped shirt, and white puffy vest :) She's got great taste!!
