Friday just happened to be a 1/2 day, and Ava's friend Ari came over after school for a few hours until her dad got off work. The kids enjoyed this yummy halloween treat while they watched the movie, Spooky Buddies.
That night we painted pumpkins

Carter covered his entire pumpkin with every color of paint
Cristian's had a pattern and was symmetrical... very typical for Cristian. :)
And we carved pumpkins
diggin the seeds out
Carter not too sure he wants to get all slimy
The pumpkins... Carter wanted Mickey Mouse, Cristian a skeleton, and Ava a Husky W.
All lit up... my husband carved these free hand with no pattern to follow. He's amazing, hopefully one of my kids got his artistic gene, cuz they're not getting one from me, haha.

What awesome pumpkins! I admire yours each year, I myself am a terrible carver ~ just glad we somehow always manage a smiley face :-).
I also love the cute snacks you made with the kids, my girls would have loved them, they LOVE peeps!!
