We got an early start to the zoo because we wanted to see the zoo keepers feed the brand new baby clouded leopards. They are so cute!! Weighing in at only 3lbs. They weren't much bigger then actual kittens. It'll be fun to watch them grow these next several months!

This monkey was checking us out carefully
while this one was stretched out on a log soaking in the early morning sun rays
The kids watching 2 more monkeys. We learned that if this species of Monkey is white, that means it's an adult Female. If it's black, it's either a male, or a teenaged female.
Up next we fed the budgies, which is probably my kids' FAVORITE thing to do at the zoo. Ava was the first to have a budgie land on her seed stick.
As I was taking a picture of Ava with her bird, I caught this guy mid-flight landing on Cristian's seed stick :) Pretty COOL!

VOILA!! A pretty blue one landed on his stick

They were just FASCINATED by these birds

We were having so much fun, we decided to go for "round 2"
Ava had a pretty yellow bird land on her stick
So did Carter
Cristian found an all white one
How cute is this... washing their hands after feeding the budgies! They each found a sink just their size :)
Next Nannie took the kids on a camel ride :) Carter couldn't go without an adult because he is not 3 years old. Such big smiles from everyone!
