Hard to believe that it's the end of August, and school will be starting in a little over a week. We thought we'd sneak one last family trip in before our busy fall schedules begin! The kids thought it was funny that we got stopped on the road so the cows could cross the road. There must have been 200 of them... and they don't move very fast, LOL :)
Saturday morning after breakfast we went into town to pick up a few things at the store. (no idea why this picture is sideways). Pretty Mt. Rainier in the back ground.

And there is the town grocery store :) Gotta love Packwood. The kids all got a blow pop. . . they thought that was a HUGE treat to eat candy in the morning!
Then it was back to the pool for more swimming!
Swimming with my Carter and Ava
The kids always love throwing rocks into the creek
Cristian and Ava put together a puzzle
We had Mia for 4 days because my dad was fishing in Alaska, and my mom and sister were in Florida. Carter thought there were "2 Mia's"
Ava did a shrek puzzle too
After dinner we made some s'mores before the Seahawks game started
YUM!!
The next morning we were back at the pool for several hours!
They also played on the big toy
Cristian doing pull ups
On the way home we stopped to let them play in the (very dirty) snow :)

Bye Bye Cabin... we'll see you next summer. Unless, of course, we have the time to go up and do some sledding/skiing this winter :)

What a nice vacation, and beautiful photos of the mountain too. Must be a wonderful place to be able to get away to!
