This year we've had a record number of Hummingbirds in our yard. They are such pretty birds, but really hard to get a close look at because they're so darn fast. I happened to have the camera outside when this guy decided to land in our tree after spending some time at our fuchsia hanging basket.
Look at that long nose. Pretty rare to get this close up to one!

Beautiful pics, what a special treat to see the hummingbird up close...the ones that come into our yard are very elusive too!
