Ava's Field Trip

On Monday, Ava had a class field trip to Windmill Gardens. Unfortunately it was POURING down rain, so we weren't able to take any pictures outside on the grounds, but there were still some pretty areas inside the green house to take pictures too. I was really WISHING my canon SLR camera was not broken! :( but these turned out pretty cute anyway!
Miss Ava Janette, Love this picture!
Same picture, in color and not cropped
Her little poses crack me up
by some hanging baskets
by the waterfall (although you can't see it)
Cute little bench and window
Close up
And here's some of the kids in Ava's class. They were missing a couple.
After the field trip and pictures, we went back to the kids class and made resurrection buns. They were delicious. You use those crescent rolls that come in a tube. Take a triangle of the dough (which is already precut) and put a marshmallow in the center of it and wrap it up into a ball. Then you take the dough and roll it around in melted butter, then you roll it around in a mix of cinnamon and sugar. Then you bake them in the oven, and when they come out, they taste JUST like cinnamon rolls, and the marshmallow is completely gone. (symbolizing Jesus' empty tomb). I had a fun morning with my girl!

Sweet pictures of Ava, she's so cute! I recently heard about those resurrection buns, but we didn't get a chance to make any. They taste like cinnamon rolls? Sounds yummy :-)!
