Our last day in Arizona with our friends was all about sun and relaxation! That morning while the kids were entertained by crafts and art projects, I packed all of our suitcases...
so that we could spend the better part of the day just doing THIS...

We fixed the kids a picnic lunch

The kids playing a game after dinner before we had to leave. Thank you Nicole and family for having us over to your house!! We had a great time with you guys, and miss you all already!!
We left Nicole's house around 6:30pm on Monday to make the 5.5 hour drive back to California. The drive went really smoothly. The kids watched a movie and played their DS's the first 2 hours of the drive, then all three of them fell asleep, and it was a very quiet rest of the drive. We pulled into our hotel in Anaheim shortly before midnight.
This picture doesn't quite capture the beauty of this sunset, since it was taking from a moving car through a window. But it really was gorgeous!!
