Swim Lessons

My friend Alison and I have been doing semi-private swim lessons for our kids this summer at their house. These girls are on the local swim team and also teach lessons, and the kids just love them. We're doing 2 lessons a week until the end of Aug, so the kids are getting a lot of swim time in!
One girl takes Ava and Trenton for 30 minutes in the shallower end. They've been working their front and back torpedos, and were just introduced to crawl stroke. Ava has made great strides in the water this year... last year she didn't like to put her face in the water, and this year she's swimming on her own for about 7 yards, and will dive under after toys.

Kaylee and Cristian work with another girl in the deeper end since they are both pretty good swimmers already. They have really been focusing on technique and breathing.
Cristian working his back stroke
Learning how to dive into the water and swim to the other side, just like they would do at a swim meet.

Kaylee and Trenton are hamster sitting for some friends of theirs. The kids thought it was so cute!

Fun swimming lessons, looks like it has been great for the kids!

My kids have been after us for some time now to get a hamster, gerbil, or other rodent pet. They're cute in pics, I'm just not sure I want to invite one into the house :-)
