Sun River, Days 4-6

Aunt Kathy and Uncle Tom also had a huge selection of games at the cabin which we enjoyed playing. The kids taught Carter how to play Hullabaloo, but he was only interested for a couple of minutes.
This boy like a magnet to anything he can climb up!

Ava won 3 games of Hullabaloo in a row and was so pleased :)
The kids also went river rafting... here they are before we drove to the Marina
Carter too :)
Here they go! The guide told them it was about a 45 minute float.
I was a little nervous for them to go with just one adult, because if one of them fell out, Kyle would have to jump in after them, leaving one child in the raft by themselves still floating down the river... but the guides insisted that the waters were extremely calm this time of year. So, Carter and I went back to the horse stables for a bit and fed the horsies again, then went to the pick up spot. They did great, but said the river water was freezing!
so we warmed up in the hot tub afterwards

Ava doing a puzzle one morning :)
We went on a walk one morning and got some pictures by the main entrance into Sun River

Then a biker went by and offered to take a family picture :)

We did a little shopping one morning and bought some cheap outdoor entertainment. The kids love these bubble wands.
Ava being blown away by all the bubbles :)
Hop scotch
Kyle left our mark in Oregon :)
Carter loves drawing with sidewalk chalk
and he LOVES Elmo!

Going for a swim in our red, white, and blue :)
It's a rare day when I get into a pool and actually swim around with the kids for an hour. I'm usually more of a spectator, and will just occasionally dip in if I get hot while sitting in the sun. But on our last morning I got in and played too :)
Sporting their red, white and blue in honor of the Land that we Love!
Happy 4th of July :)
