Sun River, Day 3

Our 3rd morning in Sun River we went to the Horse Stables. Ava wasn't quite old enough to take a Horseback riding lesson, so we did pony rides instead. Ava was thrilled to ride any size of horse :) (if you click on this picture, you can see the huge grin on her face :)
Cristian riding a pony too
He learned how to tell a horse to start moving, and how to tell him to stop :)
Ava gave her horse a kiss after the ride :)
Carter learning how to be a little cowboy :)
Wouldn't you know...
Cristian roped this guy on the first try :)
We also got to feed some of the horses.

We let him take extra turns since he wasn't old enough to ride the pony!

Ava sitting on the hay (trying not to touch it in case it makes her itchy) I was so excited I could still do "scrunchy braids" in her hair even with the new shorter hair do!
All 3 waiting on the hay wagon
Back at the cabin... eating lunch :)

Cristian ready to shoot me with water

He even kicks and put his face in the water
Hi Mom!
We spent several hours at the pool each day! It was heaven!!
Carter eating a snack
My, Cristian, and Ava's 4th of July flip flops. Note C's feet are almost as big as mine now.
Speaking of C... he has grown an inch in the last month or so... he's looking so grown up to me now! Still can't believe he's a 2nd grader!!
Kyle feeding our friend Chimpy
Carter came out of the kids' bedroom with Cristian's frogs. :) This family sure loves frogs!
Before dinner, we decided to hit a few wiffle balls
My slugger
This girl holds her own... she's quite the ball player too
she was smacking 'em all over the place too
Aunt Kathy and Uncle Tom had a great selection of movies at their cabin. Here are the kids watching Hook for the first time while I was making dinner. They really enjoyed it!
Carter just being silly
Time for bed. (Carter really wanted to sleep in the bunk room with the big kids... so we let him lay in there one night with them for a few minutes :)
