Oh, wow! My baby is 20 months old, and for some reason that seems so much older then 19 months. (gone are the "teens", and soon to follow will be the counting of his age by months). We're quickly closing in on having a 2 year old folks. Although, if you ask him how old is, he'll hold out two fingers and say "two." (he refuses to say the word, one when it comes to his age)
So... what' new with Carter?? He finally enjoys reading... he will actually bring me a book and say "book. read." He is the King of words. He will parrot most any word you say, and will sometimes put 2 words together. (he's definitely not an early talker like his brother and sister were, he's much more quiet) Some of my favorites 2 word phrases of his are "Go Huskies" and "Mama wa-vee" (Mommy love you), and "No, Mine" (ok, maybe that one's not my favorite, but still makes me smile).
Carter loves to play in water, it's going to be a very fun summer with him. He will be entertained for hours in his little pool and all the other water toys we have here.
If you ask Carter what his favorite color is, he will most assuredly tell you, "green"

He's getting so big! So funny how he says he's "2" already.
Emma was that way for a while too, whatever age Alyssa was, that's how old she would claim to be. Why do they always want to be in such a hurry to get older? :-)
I agree with Amanda, I love that last picture. It is hard to believe he is almost 2!
That last picture is adorable! It's always been hard to watch my kids grow up but with my baby, it's been that much harder! Every birthday is bittersweet.
