Arizona Day 6

Friday was our last day in Arizona, but we had a full day of activities since our plane didn't leave until 7pm that night. I didn't take a ton of pictures this day because my camera battery was dying after a lot of use the previous 5 days :)

We really enjoyed visiting the Phoenix Zoo. It is enormous, and rated one of the top 10 Zoo's in the nation. Here are Cristian and Emma "carefully" posing by a cactus.

I wish I could remember the name of the 3 animals that were in this exhibit. But we were entertained by them for quite awhile. They just run and chase each other all over the place, and can reach speeds up to 60 mph. The kids were just laughing, and laughing watching them play.

Arizona Day 5

Thursday morning we went to Peoria (about a 15 minute drive) and got to watch the Mariners batting practice and a Spring Training game. Here is the sign pulling into the parking lot.

It was so cute how they'd all walk up together in a group and ask for autographs.
I'm not sure what this guy's name is (hard to read their cursive signatures), but his last name starts with a "G". When Cristian saw it, he said, Mom, it says Griffey. And the man chuckled, and said "I WISH!!"
